January 2023

From January 2023 we will accept payments by cards/ GooglePay/ ApplePay in the Embassy.  From now on the visa handling fee should be paid by card; we will continue to accept postal orders or bank drafts until the 28/02/2023.  Belgian nationals paying for passports, identity cards or any other document can continue to pay by bank transfer or can pay on the day by card.  

May 2022

Due to essential upgrade works the Embassy will be operating at a limited capacity during the week beginning 02/05/2022. We will not be reachable by phone at all times. Emails will still be answered, but delays are to be expected. October 2021

From 01/10/2021 Belgian nationals will require a passport to travel to the UK - an identity card will no longer be sufficient.  Find out how to apply for a passport here.  

June 2021

NEW! From now on all Belgian eIDs will contain biometric data.  This means that applications will have to be made in person in the Embassy in Dublin where your photo and fingerprints will be digitally captured.  For more information click here.
